Designer Refund & Conduct Policy
(Applicable to Fashion Designers & Jewellery Designers Only)
 
1. Applicability
This policy applies to all participating Fashion Designers and Jewellery Designers confirmed for VogueStar Fashion Week – Season 5, irrespective of slot category or participation tier.
By confirming participation and submitting the processing fee, the designer acknowledges and agrees to abide by the terms outlined below.
 
2. Processing Fee Policy
Non-Refundable Clause
The processing fee is strictly non-refundable under any circumstances.

Once the participation is confirmed and payment is received:

• The amount paid shall not be refunded in case of withdrawal, cancellation, or inability to participate.

• No refund shall be issued due to personal reasons, business conflicts, travel issues, medical situations, or any other unforeseen circumstances.

• Slot transfers, deferments, or adjustments to future seasons shall not be permitted unless explicitly approved in writing by the VogueStar management.

• In the event of disqualification due to breach of conduct, the fee shall remain non-refundable.

The processing fee covers, but is not limited to:

• Event production and runway management

• Show direction and choreography

• Venue and hospitality coordination

• Branding, marketing, and promotional activities

• Administrative and operational expenses incurred prior to the event

As substantial pre-event investments are made on behalf of participating designers, the non-refundable nature of the fee is absolute and binding.
 
3. Cancellation by Organizer
In the unlikely event that VogueStar Fashion Week is postponed due to circumstances beyond reasonable control (including but not limited to force majeure, government regulations, venue restrictions, or national emergencies), the management reserves the right to:

• Reschedule the event to a later date; or

• Adjust participation to a future season.

Under such circumstances, refunds shall not be issued; however, reasonable alternatives may be provided at the discretion of the organizers.
 
4. Code of Conduct During the Event
All participating designers are expected to maintain professional conduct at all times throughout the event, including rehearsals, fittings, show day, media interactions, and post-show engagements.
Designers must:

• Maintain respectful behavior toward models, show directors, coordinators, staff, partners, sponsors, and fellow participants.

• Adhere strictly to the scheduled timelines for fittings, rehearsals, and showcase slots.

• Avoid any public statements or social media posts that may harm the reputation of VogueStar, its partners, or other participants.

• Ensure that all designs presented comply with ethical standards and intellectual property laws.

• Refrain from any form of misconduct, harassment, intimidation, or unprofessional behavior.

VogueStar Reserves the Right To:

• Issue warnings in case of minor violations.

• Remove a designer from the showcase in case of serious misconduct.

• Deny stage access or revoke participation rights without refund if conduct is deemed inappropriate or damaging to the event’s integrity.

Professionalism, discipline, and mutual respect are fundamental expectations from all participating designers.
 
5. Agreement & Acceptance
Submission of the processing fee and confirmation of participation shall be deemed as full acceptance of:

• The non-refundable fee policy

• The event conduct guidelines

• All operational decisions made by VogueStar management

This policy is binding and enforceable upon confirmation of participation.
Health and Safety

1. The organizers are not liable for any physical injuries sustained during participation in the event. Applicants are advised to take necessary precautions to ensure their safety.

2. Applicants are responsible for their own health and must ensure they are fit to participate in the event.

Alcohol and Substance Use

1. The consumption of alcohol and the use of illegal substances are strictly prohibited during the event.

2. Any applicant found to be under the influence of alcohol or illegal substances will be disqualified immediately.

Property and Personal Belongings

1. The organizers are not responsible for any loss or damage to personal property or belongings during the event. Applicants are advised to keep their belongings secure at all times.

2. Any theft, loss, or damage to property should be reported to the event staff immediately.

Compliance with Event Rules

1. All applicants must comply with the event rules and regulations at all times.

2. Failure to adhere to the rules may result in disqualification and removal from the event.

Medical Emergencies

1. In the event of a medical emergency, the organizers will provide basic first aid assistance. However, applicants are responsible for their own medical care and expenses.

2. It is recommended that applicants have their own health insurance coverage.

Photo and Video Consent

1. By participating in the event, applicants consent to being photographed and recorded for promotional purposes.

2. The organizers reserve the right to use any photos or videos taken during the event for marketing and promotional activities.

2. It is the applicant's responsibility to stay informed about any updates or changes to the event schedule or rules.

Additional Points

1. Dress Code: Applicants must adhere to the dress code specified for the event. Non-compliance may result in disqualification.

2. Time Management: Applicants are responsible for managing their time and adhering to the event schedule. Late arrivals may not be accommodated.

3. Travel and Accommodation: The organizers are not responsible for travel and accommodation arrangements. Applicants must make their own arrangements and ensure timely arrival at the event venue.

4. Weather Conditions: The event will proceed as scheduled, regardless of weather conditions. Applicants should prepare accordingly.

By participating in the event, applicants acknowledge and agree to these terms and conditions, and accept full responsibility for their participation.
PLEASE NOTE: If the candidate is disqualified for any of the above reasons, all fees paid to the organization are non-refundable under any circumstances.
